5 Easy-To-Cook Food Recipes You Can Relish In Few Minutes

There is a chef in all of us, which surfaces when we are in no mood to order food, are short of money, or have to eat something real quick and make on time for the meeting or class. The chef in us also surfaces on days when we stay at home during a holiday. 

Now, cooking shahi biryani and samosas might not be our cup of tea, but there are many other quick and easy to make food recipes which are as easy as making tea. I am sure you want to learn these easy food recipes. So get sc‘rollinggg’!!

1.The first on the list of easy food recipe is ‘Mug Mac and Cheese’

All you need: 

  1. ½ Cup Macaroni
  2. ½ Cup Milk
  3. ½ Cup Cheddar/Cheese
  4. Salt.
  • Add milk and Macaroni in a cup and microwave it for 1 minute. Repeat until cooked.
  • Add Cheddar/cheese. Microwave for another 15 seconds.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Stir well to mix
  • Garnish with parsley leaf (optional)

2. Szechwan Mayo French Fries

All you need: 

  1. A packet of frozen fries
  2. Szechwan sauce
  3. Mayonnaise sauce
  4. Salt
  5. Empty bowl
  • Deep fry the frozen fries
  • Add salt
  • Transfer the fried fries into the empty bowl
  • Add Szechwan sauce and Mayonnaise sauce as per your requirement
  • Mix well and savour

Tip: (If you do not want to fry packed fries, you can always chop potatoes, apply all-purpose flour, fry them and sprinkle salt)

3. Garlic Bread

All you need: 

  1. 6-7 cloves of garlic
  2. 1 sp butter
  3. 1 tbsp of finely chopped coriander
  4. Bread
  • Smash the cloves of garlic till they completely breakdown
  • Add 1sp butter
  • Add 1 tbsp of finely chopped coriander
  • Stir till mixed completely
  • Cut the slices of bread in either triangular or rectangular shape
  • Apply the garlic paste on the bread slices
  • Heat a pan and brush it lightly with butter
  • Place the slices and heat them till becoming slightly crispy

Tip: (Garnish the garlic bread with oregano and/or chilly flakes seasoning)

4. Hashbrown

All you need: 

  1. 4 potatoes
  2. 1 Onion
  3. Black pepper
  4. Salt
  • Peel the covering of the potatoes and onion
  • Grate them in a bowl
  • Wrap them in a clean towel/cloth and squeeze the extra liquid
  • Remove it in a bowl
  • Sprinkle salt and black pepper
  • Heat the pan on medium flame
  • Add oil and wait till hot
  • Add a spoon full of grated mixture in the pan
  • Pat it a little in the shape of patties
  • Flip once brown and crispy. Cook for about 1-1½ minutes each side.
  • Serve hot with ketchup

5. Pancakes

All you need: 

  1. 1 cup All-Purpose-Flour
  2. ½ cup milk
  3. 3 spoons sugar
  4. 1 egg (optional)
  5. 2 spoons melted butter
  6. 1 tbsp baking powder
  • Mix all dry ingredients together
  • Add milk and stir to mix
  • Add 1 egg and 2 spoons of melted butter. Mix till lump free
  • Heat the pan on medium flame
  • Add one ladle full of batter onto the pan and spread it lightly
  • Wait till small bubbles appear
  • Flip and cook for a few seconds
  • Serve with maple syrup
