This powerhouse of a device is powered by Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich and brings in interesting features like S-Voice (a voice recognising software),Smart Stay (the front camera tracks your eyes and manages the screen brightness), Pop up play (plays HD videos while you text someone), etc. In the camera department, the phone carries a 8 megapixel camera, which after some amazing tweaks, takes zero shutter lag photos and is capable of recognising your best expression. Another nifty utility is the Direct Call feature (if you are texting someone and wish to call him/her, all you have to do is put up the phone to your ear; your SIII will do the rest). Despite its power draining features, the battery life lasts an astounding 11 hours and 40 minutes! Coupled with NFC support, an exquisite design and an added bonus of a 50 GB Dropbox cloud storage, the price tag seems reasonable especially if you have always wanted to buy a phone that measures up to the iPhone.

Although, the sad part of the story is that only Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich devices shall get the update (depending upon the manufacturer). Set for a first week of August release, Jelly Bean with its improved accessibility, support for more international languages along with a completely new user interface, is already legend-wait for it-dary.
