For those who still have doubts as to what Artificial Intelligence (AI) is, simply put AI is the creation of smart machines that perform human-like functions. It is the creation of software that enables the machines to learn the way humans learn, to speak the way humans speak, to think the way humans think and perform tasks that humans perform, at a much faster speed than humans can. A striking and perfect example of Artificial Intelligence can be none other than ‘Alexa’ which has garnered immense craze among people because of the functions it performs; functions which were otherwise only performed by humans.

Business Intelligence Developer

This role will demand you to analyze data in order to gauge and identify business and industry trends. The main motive of a Business Intelligence Developer is to help the business/company increase their profitability after a careful and detailed study of the market conditions. In this job role you will be expected to not just analyze and study the market, but also design and build data on the collected analyses and put it up on highly accessible cloud-based data platform. 

Machine Learning Engineer

In this capacity, you will be required to develop and manage platforms that will be needed to carry out the machine learning projects. This job will demand an accurate understanding of various programming languages like Java, Scala and Python. Those holding strong analytical, programming and mathematical skills must undoubtedly opt for this job role.

Research Scientist

To become a research scientist, you must have a thorough understanding in multiple disciplines of AI which include deep learning, machine learning, computational statistics and applied mathematics. 

Big Data Architect/Engineer

Just like in machine learning engineering, Big Data Engineers will have to be thorough with programming languages like C++, Java, Python and Scala. Big Data Engineers/Architects have the responsibility of planning, designing and building big data ecosystems on software and computer programs like Spark and Hadoop. 

Data Scientist

Their key role involves collecting and analyzing huge amounts of complex data and also developing algorithms that helps them in collecting such data for analysis purpose. Aspiring data scientists must be comfortable with the tools and big data platforms like Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive and Map Reduce. They must also be sound with programming languages.
