A1000milesapart: love, sorrow, hope

A1000milesapart is an experimental post-rock band from Mumbai. You can listen to their demo album ‘Sense’ here.

How was the band A1000miles apart formed?
Me and my friend/bandmate kiran were listenin to some post-rock bands one afternoon in June, we were listening to random songs of God is an Astronaut, Hammock, 65daysofstatic, etc and then we got so inspired that we decided to form a post-rock band of our own. The reason I kept this name for our band is because I just had a break up with my ex-girlfriend and I was feeling very melancholic; it actually felt as if she had gone a 1000 miles away from me…

Tell us about your demo album Sense.
