6 Easy Skincare Tips For Men

Who says men don’t need to worry about treating their skin? It is equally important for them to take of their skills as it is for women. Women’s skin differs from men’s in a few aspects which is why their skincare routine won’t be that affective for men. Everyone thinks about their skin, looks and want to take good care of it.

Here is a basic skincare routine for men.

Cleanse

Using a good quality facial cleanser that suits your skin can help you look fresh. You must cleanse your face at least twice a day to get rid of germs, dirt and excess oil which settle in your face throughout the day. This will prevent breakout and clogged pores.

Shaving Cream and Beard Oil

A shaving cream allows seamless shave. Applying a shaving cream is a must. A good quality shaving cream provides a comfortable and pain-free shaving experience and protects your skin against cuts. Shaving creams also play the role of moisturizing the skin preventing it from falling dry.

If you are growing facial hair, then beard oil is your best friend. It softens the facial hair and also moisturizes the skin underneath.

After Shave Balm

Shaving helps to get rid of hair as well as dead skin cells. After a shave, the skin tends to get dry rather than getting moisturized. Moisture-rich after shave balms help to soothe your skin and reduce irritation brought on by shaving.

Moisturize with a SPF

Moisturizing is basically retaining the moisture of your skin which is being lost because of the weather and other factors. Moisturizing ensures our skin is hydrated and doesn’t become dry. Every guy should be applying moisturizer that includes SPF 30 or higher to protect the skin from harmful UV rays.

Exfoliate

Exfoliation also allows the healthier skin cells to live on the surface of the skin. Exfoliation gets rid of dead skin cells giving you a brighter complexion while also minimizing fine lines and wrinkles. Exfoliate using a scrub twice a day. Pick a gentle scrub, use it every few days, and you’re a few weeks away from a smoother skin with fewer blemishes.

Exercise

You might question yourself how exercise helps in keeping the skin healthy. It does. When you exercise, or undertake any physical activity, you release toxins from your body through sweat. Sweat cleanses the body, leaving the skin fresh. However, make sure to have a bath after exercising, or else the sweat released might dry up and lead to itching and irritation.
