To guage what you like most about Youth Incorporated magazine, we decided to conduct a survey to estimate what we should give you more of and what should be taken out of the magazine.
The survey showed us an overwhelming response in favour of more education related articles. The requests for more career stories, increased student experiences and meaningful counsellor insights has been noted and will be implemented into the coming issues of our magazine so you can read more of what you want in your favourite youth magazine. You will begin to see these changes in our July 2013 anniversary issue. Some of the insights that were highlighted in the survey include:
Increased emphasis on careers and education (both in India and abroad)
Preference for entrepreneurs and young achievers over Bollywood celebrities
Most popular YI issues included World’s Best Colleges 2013, 12 Cool Careers and 135 Undergraduate Degree options
Reviews of music, gadgets, books and movies were the most preferred entertainment topics
Along with the survey, we also decided to give a few lucky winners the chance to win an iPad, iPhone 5 or Blackberry Z10. The winners were picked by a computer algorithm to avoid any bias.
We are glad to announce the following winners:
1. iPhone 5 – Sonali Gupta
2. iPad – Sakina Mahimwala
3. Blackberry Z10 – Asif Sayeed
Along with the three main winners of these amazing gadgets, we also have three bonus winners who were awarded a free one year subscription of Youth Incorporated magazine. The three bonus winners are Jui Muniar, Anurag Sharma and Priyanka Patwari.
Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to all who have participated.
