However, while fanboys glorified Virat to a cricket demigod status, netizens across the country took to trolling his ex-girlfriend Anushka Sharma. Countless jokes, memes and posters circulated on Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp all through the night and the next day. This pushed the world’s best batsman (arguably) to take to Instagram and post this:
