Basic Photography Workshop 2.0

Hone your photography skills with this full-day Basic Photography Workshop 2.0, that teaches you the theory and practical application of a DSLR. Some of the topics that will be covered in the workshop include understanding the Exposure (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, etc.), using different lighting situations to create drama in photos, posing and portraiture, principles of composition and framing shots. You will also be given hands-on shooting exercises with an in-depth review and critique sessions. You are required to carry your own equipment if you have any.

Graffiti GamiFYI’d

Explore the colourful walls and street art that Central Bengaluru has to offer with this fun treasure hunt. This quest covers 2.5 kms of beautiful wall paintings in the heart of Bengaluru, that are an exemplar of various renowned street artists. The game will run in slots and are a total of 90 mins. You are required to play in teams of up to 4, so grab some of your closest buddies or family members even. The treasure hunt clues will be given via a mobile app called GamiFYI, and the game password will be mailed to everyone who registers for the event.

The Jus’ Chocolate Tour

If you’ve been wanting to learn the art of chocolate making from some of the finest chocolatiers, this is one opportunity you shouldn’t miss. Jus’Trufs has introduced a unique tour where you can experience chocolate making first-hand, and get your hands dirty by learning the art of chocolate tempering and make your own truffles, under some master chocolatiers. The Exalt in Dandeli is the perfect way to get your adrenaline pumping with an action-packed white water rafting experience on the River Kali. Challenge yourself to a rappelling lesson, or treat yourself to nature’s finest with mountain biking sessions on nature trails. There’s also kayaking, zorbing, wildlife safaris and more up for grabs, and is worth every penny spent.

For those of you who want to kick-back and have a relaxed weekend, nothing beats an open-air cinematic festival. Indulge in movie-screenings, live music, and tons of food set against the backdrop of a dreamy, (read Instagram-worthy) lit night sky. The cool climate is just the icing on the cake, but be sure to carry your own winter gear to keep you warm.
