Volunteer for a Cause!

Today, millions of children do not have access to the same quality of education as their wealthier peers. As a result, one in three students in India will drop out of primary school before the 5th standard. Teach For India is a nationwide movement of the country’s brightest college graduates and young professionals who commit two years to teach full-time in under-resourced schools. They go on to become lifelong leaders working across sectors towards educational equity. The leadership skills gained in their two years at Teach for India help them to handle any situation in their professional lives. In order to create this change in our education system, Teach for India is looking for promising young leaders who believe that India can be a better nation for all its citizens. If you think you are ready for the challenge, Teach For India is currently accepting applications for its 2012 Fellowship. The final application deadline is on the 22nd of January. If you want to be part of the change and teach for India, log on to: www.teachforindia.org to apply.
