Vividh is an online National cultural Intercollegiate festival organized by SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mithibai Campus, Vile Parle (West), Mumbai which in all its essence highlights a variety of events ranging from Literary Arts, Management Events, Gaming, and Sports, Mock Parliament to Pro-Nites! Vividh has also launched a Social Initiative called ‘Kadam- Changing Lives’, under which Team Vividh conducts various social activities, doing its bit to give back to society. The theme for this year is ‘Eludir El Espacio’. The twelfth edition of the festival, Vividh’21 is happening on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th April 2021.
We are the first law college in India to congregate a cultural festival and give not only the law students but the students from several fields to bask in the glory of incredible performances. Vividh has a footfall of around 10,000 people. It has had several artists who have contributed to making Vividh sensational. Namely: Edward Maya, Sunburn, Dzeko and Torress, Biswa, Kumar Varun, Sahil Shah, and Azeem Banatwala; music launch for Luka Chuppi; movie promotions for Wedding Pullav, Jazba, Kung Fu Yoga, and Kaabil. Thus, we have welcomed Aishwarya Rai Bacchan, Hritik Roshan, Kartik Aryan, Yami Gautam, Karan Grover, Diganth Manchale, Anushka Ranjan, and Sonu Sood.
1. BLOOD DONATION DRIVE
Team Vividh’21 in association with ASBB Trust participated in a Blood Donation Drive on 7 February 2021 in Mazgaon. The blood donation drive was an initiative under Vividh’s social wing, “Kadam – Changing Lives”. Under Kadam, our social wing, we participated in various social cause events and aim to give back to the community we live in. The whole of Team Vividh’21 was present and donated blood. It was a fruitful and content experience for every one of us knowing that we were saving lives. Our team travelled from all over Mumbai to donate blood and save lives.
2. WORLD NGO DAY DONATION DRIVE
Team Vividh’21 collaborated with Rotaract Club of Mulund Hill View in a donation drive. Team Vividh visited an Orphanage, Vatsalya Trust in Kanjurmarg. Vatsalya Trust is a public charity trust who aim to improve quality of life for the under-privileged. Team Vividh’21 in association with Rotaract Club of Mulund Hill View conducted a donation drive on 27 February 2021. Team Vividh donated stationery supplies and food to the children. Our volunteers enthusiastically participated and were able to touch many lives. There is no joy greater than the joy of giving. Our team experienced incredible content after the donation drive.
