Trinity College to include Bollywood Hits in it's syllabus

Trinity College, London, which has over 30 centres across India, has included Bollywood and Indian classical music in its curriculum, after the international success of AR Rahman’s Oscar-winning score in Slumdog Millionaire. The college, which just celebrated 125 years of existence in August, features Bollywood music in the electronic keyboard section of the music examination. The college has also offered Carnatic music, indigenous to South India, under a pilot project in London. The college has plans to include it in their syllabus permanently.
