The depiction of Poverty, problems of Farmers due to Feudal Lords (Zamindaars) , the sacrifice of a mother on account of justice and the first Indian film to reach Oscars makes Mother India 4th in our countdown.

Director – Vikas Bahl

Cast – Kangana Ranaut, Lisa Haydon, Rajkumar Rao.

I mean who would have ever thought that a girl next door who went alone on her honeymoon would create a sensation in the audiences! Kangana’s acting, the spontaneous script and the appeal of women empowerment has brought Queen to the 5th place in our countdown.

The classic love affair with a Bollywood real life love triangle being portrayed as the exact same on the silver screen. The beautiful songs, scenery, dialogues and the essence of the drama have made Silsila achieve the 6th spot.

 

7) Bajirao Mastani

9) Andaaz Apna Apna

Cast – Paresh Rawal, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Shakti Kapoor.
