As compared to last year this edition, contestants will have 8 (3 new) categories to showcase their techniques and creativity. For the first time ever, this year includes a submission category where nail technicians can create their nail art based on a theme and send in their entries without travelling to Mumbai.

The jury comprises both national and international nail experts including industry stalwarts like Wonluishon Ragui, Kavita Bathija, Gurpreet Seble and Olena Paul. With participation from top nails brands and salons from across India, the event offers a chance to network with business contacts like distributors, suppliers, buyers and manufacturers of nail care and art products all under one roof. Professional brands get a chance to interact directly with their target audience opening up a gamut of opportunities. Last year saw more than 60 contestants, 908 visitors and 15 brands at the event and this year promises to be bigger.

Nailathon is now supported by Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council (B&WSSC) which is a not for profit organization which focuses on establishing a platform for development and imparting of skills for Beauty and Wellness industry.
