How Sushma Swaraj Proved She’s The Best Politician On Twitter

Even though Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj is hospitalized, awaiting a kidney transplant, she continues helping people from her hospital bed, especially on Twitter, proving why she’s everyone’s favourite politician. Take a look at some instances where Sushma Swaraj has made headlines for all the right reasons.

When the Egyptian embassy turned down the request for a visa for the world’s heaviest woman to travel to Mumbai for surgery, Sushma Swaraj intervened to get the visa approved.

When an American tourist was gang raped in Delhi,Sushma Swaraj asked the Delhi Police to act swiftly to register a case. She also spoke to Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and Indian Ambassador in US Navtej Sarna about the matter


After an Indian expatriate walked over 1000 kms in 20 trips to attend court proceedings in Dubai, all to get a flight ticket back to India, Sushma Swaraj took on his case and ensured he reached home safely.
