TV Actor & Host Rithvik Dhanjani gets candid in an interview with Youth Incorporated
From acting, hosting to dance, there is very little TV star Rithvik Dhanjani hasn’t ventured into. He is spontaneous, fun and knows his game well. Misbaah Mansuri chats with hi on his strangest work experience, V-day date and more!
My favourite dance form will always remains to be hip-hop, South African street jazz which is more like hip-hop.
Between Mumbai or Dubai, definitely Mumbai. I like Dubai because my childhood friends are there. However, living the life I live in Mumbai, I love Mumbai more.
It happened while I was hosting a private wedding celebration that was a love marriage with some senior family members who weren’t too keen on it. So, when I went into the audience for some sort of interaction, one gentleman grabbed the microphone and expressed his dissatisfaction with the marriage. Even when family members interfered, he did not stop. It was both difficult and strange to deal with.
The best compliment I’ve ever had was during one of my short film projects, when the people who came to see it said that they didn’t think I was Rithvik at any moment, but that they fell in love with the character I was playing.
My ideal Valentine’s Day date would be on a remote island far from the main city, where I could see the lights but not hear the traffic. On the island, there should be only one bungalow for myself and my girlfriend where I can take a boat ride in the moonlight, with live musicians and a chef preparing amazing cuisine.
