The Comeback Of Retro!

Big hair, winged eyeliner, choker’s — it’s the ‘80s all over again! Janvi Manchanda gives you the lowdown on all the hippie trends from the retro era, that are making a comeback

Round Sunglasses

We have seen the cat eye glasses, wayfarers, oversized sunglasses, aviators and what not! But this year, we have round sunglasses and cat eye combination sunglasses with reflective lenses making their way into our accessories.

Bell sleeves

Other than shoulder and collar bones, wrists are also sexy this year! And what’s better than a bell-sleeved top to grab some eyeballs? Bell sleeves are in vogue this year. Pair a bellsleeved crop top with a mini skirt and ankle boots, add a headband and you’re good to go!

The Fringe

Even though they made a comeback in 2015, you will get to see a lot more of it this year. From tops, jackets and dresses to bags, boots and on flats — fringes are everywhere!

Bell bottoms

The ‘60’s, ‘70’s and ‘90’s most standout trend, the bell bottom, has made a major comeback this year. Back in the day, this trend took the fashion industry by storm and this time is no different. Dig out your old bell bottoms from the back of your wardrobe and flaunt them. Pair it with a skin fitting top and belt.

Off Shoulder

Gone are the days of plunging necklines!wIt’s time to show off your shoulders and collar bones because it’s in and it’s sexy! This old trend is back from the dead and it’s taking the world by storm! Wear an off shoulder top with a flared skirt or a palazzo and show off your well defined shoulders and collar bones.

Gladiator and tie up’s

Marilyn Monroe once said, “Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world.” So, lace up your sandals, team them with simple dress or basic shorts and get ready to turn a seriously large number of heads your way. Seize the day, girl!
