Ranveer Singh Attempts To Create Music For The Hearing Impaired

Ranveer Singh who never fails to impress the spectators with his distinctive fashion style and liveliness has once again created a space in people’s heart by his initiative for creating music for the hearing impaired.

While talking about the idea which drove him to take this step, he said, “I can’t imagine my life without songs, and there are so many people who don’t have the option of experiencing music at all! We wanted to attempt to change that.”The actor along with filmmaker Navzar Eranee launched his music label, IncInk in March. During one of the episodes of the hip hop reality show, MTV Hustle, The writer and the composer of the song, Asli Hip Hop from film Gully boy, Spitfire aka Nitin Mishra, performed his song ‘Vartalap’ alongside a sign language interpreter for the benefits of the impaired audience.

When asked Eranee about it, he said, “We wanted to include sign language from day one with all our music creatives. We want to make it mandatory as a practice and as we look into the future, utilise more technique to include a larger audience who may not have the benefits when it comes to the arts.”  Calling the Vartalap performance a start in this direction, the filmmaker ensures continuing it in the future.

The actor’s warm and touching move has aided him in creating a compassionate image in front of his fans. The Padmavat star further explains his idea and concern for the hearing impaired by saying,”If we make the slightest effort to translate our art in a way that those who can not hear it can at least somehow consume it ; even if they can’t hear our songs but can in this manner see what we are saying and maybe enjoy it, that’s all we want.” With this move, the actor has not only created an imprint of his sympathetic attitude in the hearts of his fans but has also done justice to his music label which he calls his passion project and also aims at creating something revolutionary out of it.
