No age bar for law courses at Allahabad University

The admission committee of Allahabad University has done away with the upper age limit for its three-year and five-year LLB courses as per the Bar Council of India notification published in Government of India gazette number 284 dated October 31 2013. Applicants to the degree, therefore, do not have to adhere to age restrictions any more. The deadline for applying to the programme has also been extended. The last date is now May 3.

Before this rule, the age limit for the general category was 30 years, and for SC/ST and OBC applicants the age limit was 35 years.
