Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics, affiliated to Mumbai University and established in 1964 by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) celebrates its golden jubilee this year.
To commemorate 50 years of excellence, NMites present a flagship event related to cycling to be held exclusively for all ex and current students of the college on 1 June 2014, Sunday. The participants will cycle around the city and spread messages of its golden jubilee celebrations on the streets of Mumbai as a way of experiencing a golden ride down memory lane. With the strategically planned and professionally managed promotions and publicity, the event is expected to draw a wide audience turnout from the starting line, along the route and till the end point. That’s from Jashoda Rang Mandir upto Bandra and back to NM College covering a total of 13.5 kms.
“Years come and go. Time doesn’t wait for anyone. All that it leaves behind is the people and their memories.” NM College flags off its golden jubilee year with NM’s Golden Ride – Pedal for Pride event where students and alumni from the years 1964 to 2014 will be present.
The event shall have Kiku Sharda, renowned actor and celebrity who is also an ex NMite gracing the occasion.
The registrations for the cyclathon were flagged off by Sharman Joshi at the alumni reunion. This event marks the launch of the first grand event of the year ‘NM’s Golden Ride- Pedal for pride.’
After all, as someone rightly said “It’s all about the good start that gives you a good ending.”
