Panna Tiger Reserve declared as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO

Panna Tiger Reserve (PTR) in Madhya Pradesh was included in the global network of biosphere reserves by UNESCO, said an official report. ‘’The area has undergone substantial ecosystem restoration in the buffer zone,’’ the UNESCO stated.
