1. Delhi government to cancel all state universities’ exams, says Deputy CM Manish Sisodia

Considering the spiking number of coronavirus cases in the capital state of India, Delhi government has decided to cancel all state universities’ exams including the final exams, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia announced via twitter on Saturday. The students will be promoted or degrees will be offered based on evaluation parameters decided by the universities, deputy CM further added.

2. Final year UG & PG exams to be held in August and September by Himachal Pradesh govt

The government of Himachal Pradesh has finalized its decision to conduct the final-year exams for students of undergraduate courses in the month of August and for postgraduate courses in September. The Education and Law Minister, Suresh Bhardwaj has asked Universities to hold the exams in accordance with UGC guidelines.

Two terrorists were killed by the Indian Army in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. The Army’s official statement stated, “Own forces swiftly launched an ambush, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists. 4. India’s 2018 Tiger Census sets Guinness Record, captures 34,858,623 pictures of wildlife

Guinness World Record has been set by India’s 2018 Tiger Census after it emerged as the world’s largest camera trap wildlife survey. Camera traps, devices that are fixed with motion sensors that start recording when an animal passes by, were placed in 26,838 locations across 141 different sites. These fixed cameras successfully captured 34,858,623 photographs of wildlife, out of which 76,651 were of tigers.

Shaktikanta Das, the sitting RBI Governor has shared positive news amidst the rising number of coronavirus cases and has assured the Indian citizens that the Indian economy is showing signs of going back to normalcy after the easing of restrictions. “The topmost priority for the RBI is growth…financial stability is equally important,” he added. “COVID-19 is the worst health and economic crisis in the last 100 years,” the governor further said.

As per the newest decision by the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration, it is now compulsory for relatives of coronavirus patients to produce Aadhaar, COVID-19 positive reports, doctor’s prescription, and consent form to buy the COVID-19 drugs, Remdesivir and Tocilizumab. FDA Minister Rajendra Shingne said, “We received information that people who don’t need the drugs are trying to purchase the drugs and then selling them at an inflated rate,”.

It’s the same kind of malware that had spread widely last year as well. These were found hiding inside of legitimate applications. This new upgraded Joker malware is capable of downloading additional malware to the device, that subscribes the victim to a number of premium services without their consent.
