New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern Is What Dreams Are Made Of!

We’re fortunate enough to be alive in a generation of female powerhouse leaders that inspire and empower not only women but people from all walks of life. Jacinda Ardern, the 40th Prime Minister of New Zealand, is another addition to the long list of globally inspiring women leaders. She is the world’s youngest female head of government (and fourth youngest overall), having taken office at age 37. She recently became a mother and also occasionally drops a DJ Set (yes, that’s right!). The woman sure has multiple feathers of achievements attached to her hat.

Jacinda has been an actively aware youth since her childhood. She is quite vocal about her views on Gay rights, represented the traditional culture and art of New Zealand while having a reception with the Queen of England, and has been a fearlessly voicing her opinions as a politician to taking strong decisions while in the office.

Ardern has been a fearless young lady since childhood. Raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ardern left the church in 2005 because, she said, it conflicted with her personal views (in particular her support for gay rights). In January 2017, Ardern identified her faith as “agnostic”. There is still a major population in the world which objects to the idea of feminism, and don’t believe in women to have equal rights as the men. Female Leaders like Jacinda Ardern have set a path for the present generation and the next generation to follow.

Women from developing countries like Pakistan, India, and South Africa etc. should learn from Jacinda Ardern, a lesson, which teaches that a woman should be so strong that she can voice her opinion without the consent of a male partner or guardian; she can manage both the family and her country well. She has her own beliefs and considers humanity to be above everything else. And the list is simply too long. In almost 2 years from now, we will complete a decade of the 2 digit era. As we step into a new one, why not make a few changes in the way we think and feel about the women around us. Let us take the good and leave behind the shady and backward minded people who treat a woman less than a man.

Today when women across the world are crossing new miles, Jacinda Ardern is an inspiration for women who want to achieve their life goals while maintaining a fine balance between their personal and professional lives.
