MOBILE GAMES

LEISURE SUIT LARRY RELOADED (MAY): For its 25th anniversary, Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded will see the release of a fully vocalised mobile game with updated HD graphics. Android and iOS.

MODERN COMBAT 5 – THE LAST WAR (END OF YEAR): This has been one of the most anticipated games of the year because of its highly detailed graphics and gameplay. It will be one of the games that changes the landscape of mobile gaming. Android and iOS.

BROKEN AGE (MID-YEAR): A pointand- click adventure game, the user will be able to switch between two characters, a boy and a girl, as each continues their individual struggle to find their one true love. Android and iOS.

BADLAND (MAY): Set in the beautiful look of a silhouetted world, the game is played by the user controlling an inhabitant as they trudge through the forest to figure out what is wrong in the world. iOS.

INFINITY BLADE DUNGEONS (TBA): The third instalment in the Infinity Blade trilogy, this game has been anticipated since it is a prequel to the first two games and will feature some impressive gameplay. iOS.

VIDEO GAMES

BIOSHOCK INFINITE (MARCH): The third game in the BioShock series, BioShock Infinite was expected to make a big impact after being highly anticipated for over a year. The first-person game has been extremely well received, especially because of the quality of its visuals and plot which features Booker DeWitt as he fights his way through a floating air-city. PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, OS X.

TOMB RAIDER (MARCH): This is the latest update to one of the world’s most famous female protagonists. Lara Croft will feature in the third-person, action adventure game using survival techniques and explorative powers. The game starts with Lara Croft’s first adventure as she is washed ashore during a shipwreck and must find her friends while escaping the danger of savages. PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC.

GRAND THEFT AUTO V (SEPTEMBER): The Grand Theft Auto franchise will carry on with a new instalment later this year. The third-person game will be bigger than any previous game in the franchise with a much larger game world and a storyline which will allow the user to play with three protagonists simultaneously. PlayStation3, Xbox 360.

WATCH DOGS (END OF YEAR): With the release of an excellent gameplay trailer and walkthrough, Watch Dogs has become one of the most anticipated video games to release this year. The game will be a third-person, stealth-action style game where you play as anti-hero Aiden Pierce, who is a skilled hacker and fighter on a mission to track down a supercomputer. PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC.

THE LAST OF US (JUNE): Set in a post-apocalyptic world, this horror-survival action game has been awaited with bated breath. The game will be a third-person view as the user takes control of Joel and is accompanied by artificial intelligence-controlled Ellie as they fight their way through the United States of America which is reeling under the aftermath of a disease outbreak. PlayStation 3.
