Monster Movie Madness

With the Godzilla film franchise getting a reboot on May 16, the desire to watch the world-famous monster on the big screen again must be satiated with other excellent monster films. Here are our favourites

Monsters (2010)

This was the directorial debut of Gareth Edwards who has also directed the 2014 Godzilla film. This film focuses on human relations during a giant monster attack.

 

Pacific Rim (2013)

As monsters from another dimension come to take over the world, a few warriors battle against them with the use of huge humanoid machines.

 

Cloverfield (2008)

A giant monster attacks while a group of New Yorkers are throwing a going away party. The entire attack is captured on one of their video cameras.

 

Super 8 (2011)

As a group of children are making their own film, a disaster in their town is later revealed to be a monster on the loose.
