It was the time of the year again when NAEMD students hosted their inter-collegiate fest JOSH. Colleges from all across the city came in to compete at JOSH India Finale on 9th December 2016 at Bhaidas Hall, Vile Parle – West, Mumbai
JOSH Fest 2016 is divided into multiple categories including various Inter-Collegiate competitions, Mr & Ms Academia and Student Idol. Fashion Show, Western Dance competition, Bollywood dance competition, Body Tattooing and Face Painting competitions are few other highlights of the mega fest. Every year, JOSH dawns with a new theme to add that extra spice in the festival. This year JOSH goes with the different theme “ZARA HATKE”
National Academy of Event Management & Development (NAEMD) is an incredibly specialized Event Management Educator. NAEMD is Asia’s First and Best Event Management Institute, providing recognized courses in Event Management at Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur & Delhi. By organizing JOSH the institute provides the future event managers of India a platform for organizing and managing their own event.
Apart from offering platform to showcase talent, this festival acts as a precursor for celebrities in the making. This festival not only eludes stage fear from the participants but also hone them for bigger events. The main objective of organizing this event is that we offer a platform to students to showcase their talents to the world at large and get noticed to kick start their career in the Industry.
JOSH this year witnessed the presence of many celebrities from Bollywood, Television & Glamour Industry, to name a few –Surbhi Prabhu, Pratik Dixit, Keyur Desai, Sonel Singh, Ruchita Tahiliani, Swati Agrawal, DJ Bosco, Sheldon Periera and Rodney Fernandes This annual festival includes various competitions between the participating colleges, which put to test the potential talent, skills and creativity of the students. With all the planning and dedication, it is a promising platform to reach out to the world. This year witnessed participation from around 30 colleges with around 300 contestants.
In-continuation of the decade old tradition, this year too NAEMD JOSH 2016 extended strong support towards opening up the platform for NGO SAKSHAM – an organisation committed for the well being of specially abled people of the society.
In the past 3 to 4 months, JOSH Festival was celebrated at multiple cities of the country and followed by the Grand India Finale at Mumbai. This festival has witnessesd an overall students touch-base of around 10000.
JOSH attracted the attention of all sectors of society connected to the youth — i.e. their parent, youngsters themselves, Educationists, Glamour World, Corporate, the Media house. Hence, huge attention was focused on this gigantic event,
