One of the distinctive fancies of every engineering enthusiast is being a part of the various subtleties associated with the life of an IITian, the most prominent of which is an IIT’s techfest. Only six years into its inception, IIT Goa has already become a much sought-after institution of academic excellence, thanks to a constant effort from everyone associated with it. Cepheus, the annual technical festival of IIT Goa, is simply another case in point.
Carrying forward the legacy we set last year, Cepheus ‘22 promises to be an exhilarating experience for everyone involved, with a wide array of competitive events and insightful workshops covering every technical domain.
Scheduled to begin on 7th January 2022, the events will span over the weekend till 9th January 2021, with the results being announced on the final day.
The widely anticipated events consist of ingeniously crafted competitions including but not limited to – CTFs, Competitive Coding competitions, and Hackathons for the computer enthusiasts; Circuital Dilemma and Arduino’s Trial for the electrical experts; Bridge Builder and Robotics Webinar for mechanical aficionados; and a unique Stock Trading competition for the financers of tomorrow!
Besides, Cepheus also offers incredibly resourceful workshops and webinars about Making a Career in Robotics, Bash It!, and HackTheGames, each specially curated to ensure discussions on the popular technical conceptions of the day and age.
What’s more? Cepheus ‘22 offers all of its participants a unique opportunity to get special offers, including internships and other professional opportunities in some popular tech companies, by proving their worth in the fest!
While lack of locational proximity would otherwise have been a hindrance, the online mode of conduction of the fest enables all the participants to attend it and make the most out of it from the comfort of their homes.
Cepheus is entirely free to attend, but there are prizes worth a total of 5 lakhs in store for those who emerge victoriously!
