The QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) World University Rankings released their list of top 50 institutes for ‘Masters in Management’, and three Indian Institutes of Management have found themselves a place on the list.
IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta secured 22nd, 23rd and 46th place respectively. Masters in Business Analytics, Masters in Finance and Global Ranking MBA program rankings were released. While India fell short of making it to the Masters in Business Analytics and Masters in Finance rankings, IIM Ahmedabad secured a spot among the top 5 ‘Global MBA’ programs in the world, with a 49th position.
IIM Bangalore secured a spot among top 100, whereas IIM Calcutta found itself among the top121-130. S.P Jain institute of Management and Research came in the 201 and above range.
Harvard Business School topped the list, followed by INSEAD in Singapore, HEC in Paris, Stanford Graduate School of Business and London Business School at fifth place. The B-schools were ranked on the basis of three criteria – employability, entrepreneurship and alumni outcome, and return on investment. The combined score decided the ranking.
