IIM Bodh Gaya started a strategic collaboration with the Bihar Police Training Academy to introduce two dynamic Management Development Programmes (MDPs) aimed at honing leadership and management skills within law enforcement professionals.
The 15-day training programme on “Relationship Management and Human Behaviour” for the 66th Batch, Dy. SP Probationers commenced on January 2nd, 2024. Designed to run for a duration of 15 days, the programme garnered the participation of 35 individuals from the 66th Batch Deputy S.P. Probationers.
Simultaneously, a 3-day training programme focusing on “Leadership and General Management” commenced on the same day, catering to the senior Bihar Police Service officers. With a concise yet intensive schedule, 14 participants are set to benefit from this specialized training.
The inaugural ceremony for both programmes took place at the Bihar Police Training Academy, Rajgir on January 2nd at 10 AM. Distinguished guests, including Prof. Vinita S Sahay, Director, IIM Bodh Gaya, Mr. Md Abdullah, DIG-cum-Deputy Director, Bihar Police Academy, Sri Ajay Kumar Pandey, SP-Cum-Asst. Director, and Senior Dy. SP Shri Mukul Ranjan honoured the ceremony with their presence.
Esteemed members of the faculty from IIM Bodh Gaya, including Prof. Amit Kumar Srivastava, Chairperson of Executive Education, and Prof. Suresh KG, were also present at the event.
These MDPs represent IIM Bodh Gaya’s commitment to contribute to the society’s advancement, fostering a culture of leadership and excellence in management practices. IIM Bodh Gaya had previously conducted this training programme for 64th and 65th Batch of Deputy Superintendent of Police.
