Hima Das & Muhammed Anas Win Gold Medals In Czech Republic

Our country’s prized sprinters, Hima Das and Muhammed Anas have brought home gold medals by winning women’s and men’s 300m race in the Athleticky Mitink Reiter, an event in the Czech Republic, stated the media. 

In this 300m race, Hima Das earned herself the sixth gold medal in European races since July 2. Last she won a gold medal on July 20 for the 400m event at 400m event at Nove Mesto in the Czech Republic.

On the other hand, Muhammed Anas won the men’s 300m race in just 32.41 seconds, crossing the line of victory. He too tweeted to his followers about his victory. 

It is an event of pride for the nation to know that Anas has already been qualified for the 400m event for the World Championships which is going to be taking place in Doha around September-October. Hima Das is yet to be qualified.
