According to a recent TOI report, Hindustan Computer Technologies will be hiring students straight out of school and train them.
The placement opportunity with HCL Technologies starts with Rs 1.8 lakh yearly for Class 12 grads with a Science background.
Meanwhile, India’s IT sector has witnessed a significant shift from traditional services to digital technologies. Due to lack of technical knowledge, fresh graduates are incapable to work on emerging technologies
According to reports, HCL will give training to 200 Class 12 students for a year. It will train them to develop and test apps for the company. In a collaborative venture, it will give students the option of pursuing a BSc degree from SSN Engineering College through a weekend college programme.
Students have to score an average of 85% in their board exams (80% for CBSE)
The intensive nine months of classroom training will help students garner knowlwedge on engineering subjects. Another three months of training will acquaint them with the working environment. The programme will be an excellent opportunity to students who can’t afford a regular course. Prior training to students will help them lay a strong foundation in the Computer Technology field.
