A buzz of excitement permeates the campus as faculty and students prepare for the highly anticipated annual THAR event. THAR, Rajasthan’s largest university-organized techno-management festival, combines technical and management events. It features three days of exciting campus events as well as numerous stand-alone activities, up to thirty in all, like Robo war, Go-kart racing, RC-nitro racing, Model United Nations (MUN), and many more. Working nonstop to put together the amazing schedule of events is Team THAR.
Coordinators from the technical, management, sponsorship, designing, etc. domains make up the committee. The coordinators, team THAR members, event managers, and volunteers make up the committee hierarchy. Faculty members and student volunteers collaborate closely to make sure these events are successful.
The technical clubs, on the other hand — the ROBOTICS CLUB, SRC, FLYING MUSTANG, and MASTER BUILDERS — are working tirelessly to ensure that the festival is an enormous success. Creative workshops (like Aero-Modelling, the Seismoshield Challenge, Hydracs, etc.), coding contests, hackathons, and robotics challenges are being held in advance of the festival’s main event. Robo-war is one of the most successful stand-alone events that attendees have ever attended. In order to win the next competition, students at the institute are using their creative ideas to build robots, encouraging other students to use their imaginations to the fullest. And our university’s literary club, WORDSWORTH, is hosting one of the most significant events, Model United Nations (MUN), which brings together participants from various colleges across the nation.
