Frames Film Festival: A Symposium

Frames Film Festival is organizing a panel discussion on the 10th of January 2018 at 12.30pm.The discussion will revolve around ‘The Changes in Indian Contemporary Cinema’.

The panel will feature Dibyendu Bhattacharya, an actor who has worked for films like Dev D, Black Friday, Lootera and Mangal Pandey among others. He is also currently working on Pari, a film featuring Anushka Sharma.

Sanjay Chauhan, a screenwriter who has written numerous award-winning films like Paan Singh Tomar, I am Kalam and Paa will also be on the panel. He is the recipient of the Filmfare award for best screenplay and story.

The panel will be moderated by Raja Sen, a well-known writer and film critic for NDTV.  The 15th edition of India’s largest undergraduate film festival will also see Anant Jog, Bikramjeet Kanwarpal, Uday Shankar Pani, Anwesha, and many others on the judging panel.

“The students put in a lot of effort to make the event a success and this is clearly reflected in the kind of passion you see in their work,” said Dr. Prof. PriyadarshiniPoddar, HOD of the BMM department. The students also performed a flashmob to catchy songs on the 5th as a part of a pre-event.

Frames Film Festival commences on the 9th of January and will end on the 11th
