Eureka! – E-Cell IIT Bombay’s Annual Flagship B-Model Competition Goes International

Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Bombay is an organization that runs several programs throughout the year to promote entrepreneurship, startups and small businesses. One of their most popular programs is Eureka! – The Business Model competition started back in 1998 to accelerate the most innovative ideas into commercial success. Eureka! has won the title of Asia’s largest business model competition, over the years and has helped many startups become multi-million-dollar businesses.

Eureka! 2021, the 23rd edition of the competition presented by SBI General Insurance, will be extremely competitive and successful as it extends to the GCC region (the region includes the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain) apart from the Indian subcontinent, and thus shows its worldwide presence. Prizes worth INR 80 Lakhs are in stake for the winners as well as opportunities of mentoring, networking, incubating and funding will be given. 

All winning startups will be taken to Expo 2020 Dubai by Eureka! 2021 powered by Gulf Islamic Investments to showcase their innovation internationally.  This once in a lifetime opportunity for Startup founders are up for grabs.

Godrej Agrovet Food and Agro Track: The Food and Agro Track aims to support new solutions to the Food & Agriculture industry. There are many opportunities in this field as the millennial generation is looking at healthy eating habits.

Westbridge Capital Pan-IIT Track: The Pan-IIT track invites entries from scratch established by students/staffs or alumni of any of the 23 Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).

Edutech Track for Gulf Islamic Investments: With the epidemic rocking the world including the education system, switching to digital mode is now more of a necessity than a technological drive. This route has gained academic and technological prominence in its backbone.
