Enthusia 2019 – The 14th Annual Sports Fest Of VJTI

The Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) in Mumbai is all set to host the 14th edition of their annual sports fest Enthusia 2019 which happens to be the 4th largest sports fest in India, today in the VJTI Quadrangle.

The opening ceremony will be graced by prominent personalities including Ex-Captain Indian Army, Mr. Dharamveer Singh, professional bodybuilder and winner of several titles like Mr. Asia, Mr. India, Mr. Suhas Khamkar, and the stunning actress Miss Akshara Haasan.

The fest will be conducted over a period of 14 days, starting today, 9th December till 22nd December. They’ve 14 different sports including Basketball, Football, Badminton, Athletics, etc. A Marathon is organised on the 15th December which will see the participation of people of all ages. The intercollegiate matches kick off from 16th December. This year, Enthusia is expected to play host to more than 20,000 people across 100 different colleges and 14 different sports.

To give a hint of what to expect from Enthusia 2019, a Zumba Workshop was organized on 6th November as a part of the 3rd edition of STFU-Seek The Fitter You. It was held in association with Fitdancember, a social event which is scheduled to happen on December 15 and will see more than 100 Zumba trainers in action continuously for 100 minutes. It saw the crowd experience Zumba, bolly beats, partner workout along with Zumba. The session was conducted by the certified trainers Padmavati Iyengar, Nidhisha Raj, Bhakti Sonwane, Tejashree Nigde, Eeshan Thake and Roshan Singh.

The event is backed by the College Director Mr. Dhiren Patel, Dean of students activities Mr. RD Daruwala, Sports Secretaries Asmit Patil, Aakansha Dhaigude and Muskan Jain and General Secretary of the college, Gunai Tarde.

The Enthusia 2019 fest is powered by the all-natural, rejuvenating drink MyPoshn and co-powered by McDonald’s.
