CIMA TIES UP WITH SEACOM SKILLS UNIVERSITY TO OFFER GLOBAL MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING QUALIFICATION
* Chartered Institute of Management Accountants is the world’s largest professional body of management accountants with operation in 179 countries.
* CIMA has announced a tie up with Seacom Skills University located in West Bengal, to integrate the CIMA curriculum and course along with the various management courses offered by Seacom Skills University.

IIM TRICHY’S PGPM PROGRAMME WELCOMED BY CFA INSTITUTE INTO THE UNIVERSITY RECOGNITION PROGRAMME
* Indian Institute of Management Trichy has become the first IIM to be welcomed into the CFA Institute University Recognition Programme.
* The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) offered by Indian Institute of Management
Tiruchirappalli has been acknowledged as incorporating academic courses (at least 70 percent) as per the CFA Programme Candidate Body of Knowledge and placing emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice within the programme.
* Entry into the CFA Institute University Recognition Programme signals potential students, employers and all stakeholders, that the IIM Trichy PGPM curriculum is in sync with professional practice globally.
* As a result of this recognition, in each fiscal year, IIM Tiruchirappalli is entitled to award scholarships to a fixed number of PGPM students to take up the CFA Programme.


EDX’S NEW COURSE ON ‘LEADERSHIP FOR ENGINEERS’

ADELAIDE INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS

* The University of Adelaide offers a scholarship program for commencing international students undertaking undergraduate study.
* Up to 40 scholarships are available each year for study in any discipline except Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Oral Health and Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Bioscience)
* The selection process for the Adelaide International Undergraduate Scholarships is competitive, with academic achievement forming the main basis for scholarship selection. As a general guide, the University of Adelaide will consider applicants who have achieved an academic level which is the equivalent of a GPA of 6/7 (85%) for a scholarship.
* As the aim of the scholarship program is to attract excellent applicants from a wide range of countries, factors such as country of citizenship and program of study may also be taken into consideration in some cases in the scholarship selection process.
