Well, now you will. Bollywood is the crème de la crème of the creative society of the country, so who better than Indian actors to prove the stigma against creatives and education, right? We have compiled a list of the most well-educated Bollywood celebrities in the country for your perusal, and we guarantee that it will blow your mind.

Amitab h Bachchan
He created a revolution in the Indian film industry with his brilliant acting skills and the ‘angry young man’ title all those years ago. Fast forward a few decades ahead, and Amitabh Bachchan is still one of the most respectable and active actors the industry boasts on. Apart from his acting accolades, the 73-year-old genius also boasts of a double major in Science and Arts from Delhi’s Kikori Mal College. The popular actor has also been presented by an honorary doctorate degree from Queensland University in Australia for his exceptional work.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Some would think being the most beautiful woman in the world would be accomplishment enough, and trust us, there’s a tremendous amount of work that goes into being sp beautiful. But for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, of course that wasn’t enough. Along with wowing us with her exceptional performances for years now, she can boast of having scored a whopping 90% in her HSC. The overachieving beauty also holds a degree in architecture, but was known to be more inclined towards zoology in her younger days.

R . Madhavan
The highly qualified and soft spoken actor has had us in awe of his fabulous acting skills ever since his first movie, RHTDM. Senior to Imtiaz Ali and Tanushree Dutta while in D.B.M.S. English School, Jamshedpur, he went on to do his graduation in electronics and represented India as a cultural ambassador in Canada. He was also awarded Best NCC Cadet Maharashtra and got a chance to go to England for it. Owing to all these achievements, he was trained with the Royal Army, Navy and the Air Force. He then did courses in public speaking, which led to more awards and opportunities. And all of this was before he joined the film industry. Talk about an overachiever, are we right?

John Abraham
One of the most vied physiques in the industry and a massive fan following was not enough for this gorgeous Bollywood hunk. Before pursuing his modelling and acting career, John Abraham completed his MBA from NMIMS. He definitely kicks the bucket on the idea of brawn doesn’t have brains.

Ameesha Patel
She may have played a dumb bimbo in Race 2 as Anil Kapoor’s assistant, but this gorgeous actress is anything but dumb. The Bollywood starlet holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Tuffs University at Medford. She has also completed her biogenetic engineering from the prestigious Boston University.

Vidya Balan:
The National Award winner has done much more in her life than just win over our hearts with her fabulous acting skills, though in our opinion, that is achievement enough. But apparently not for this gorgeous actress. The South Indian beauty also boasts of a Bachelor’s and Master’s in sociology.

Preity Zinta:
The ever-bubbly actress completed her BA in English honours from St. Bede’s College in Shimla. But that’s not all. Apart from her prowess in the Indian film industry, Preity Zinta also holds a graduate degree in psychology as well as a post-grad in criminal psychology. Talk about a beauty with brains.

Randeep Hooda
The Bollywood star is not only known for his gorgeous chiselled looks, but also for his exemplarary acting skills. Combine that with his pre-Bollywood Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in business management and human resource management, and we’ve gotten ourselves the perfect dream man who you can take home to your mother. Just kidding, maybe.

Soha Ali Khan
Being from a royal family did not deter this nawabi princess from her goals. Before pursuing her Bollywood goals, the Pataudi beauty went to Oxford to study geography. She also holds a master’s degree in international relations from London School of Economics and Political Science.
