E-Cell, IIT Kharagpur presents the Indian version Shark Tank for Startups to raise a Million! 

The Indian startup industry is constantly evolving and growing with numerous startups emerging every day. However, raising funds has remained a tedious task for most early-stage startups, to date. Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kharagpur has come up with a ‘shark tank’ like an on-spot funding platform to help startups raise INR 1.5 Million in just 10 minutes! Million at Stake (MAS) is a well-curated on-spot funding platform, that sees the participation of top-notch startups from around the country. To participate Startups have registered for the event on ecell-iitkgp.org/millionatstake. After registration, the startups will be scrutinized through 2 levels and then selected for pitching at Million At Stake in front of an acclaimed panel of investors. On the event day, the 7 shortlisted startups will get 10 minutes each to pitch in front of the panel, followed by Q&A for 5 mins. 

Last year, MAS witnessed the participation of more than 100+ startups from across the nation, out of which 7 startups crossed both the stages of scrutinization and made it to the event, where they pitched in front of the esteemed panel of investors. Previous investors for MAS include Prakhar Agarwal ( India Investments, AngelList ), Gaurav Agrawal ( Angel Investor), Pankaj Thackar ( Founder, Padup Ventures ), Raghav Kanoria ( Founder, Neoleap Accelerator ), and other eminent investors.

Event day: 1st February Million at Stake will be held during the Global Entrepreneurship Summit-2020 on 1st February on the campus of IIT Kharagpur. Register for the event at ecell-iitkgp.org/millionatstake
