“The secret of getting ahead, is getting started.”
Every student nowadays is facing issues to decide the best career path suitable for themselves. Everyone is in the quest to become something extraordinary, however, they lack means to find out the correct path to do so. To help each student get started with the right guidance, this year again SIES College of Commerce and Economics brings to us it’s annual career guidance festival DISHA. As the name implies it will help students obtain clarity for choosing the right career path. An excellent learning opportunity and an eye-opener for those who are unsure of what lies ahead of them and for those who wish to expand their horizons.
DISHA 2020 intends to provide students with an overwhelming amount of information, workshops, seminars and enthralling events such as the chamber of justice, one mic stand and madvertise that test their knowledge as well as provide an amazing experience. At the Youth Conclave renowned guest speakers such as Dr. Pawan Agrawal, the man behind revolutionising dabbawala system in Mumbai, Farrhad Acidwalla, one of the youngest entrepreneurs of our country, Dr. Radhakrishnan Pillai, an author and Ms. Vahbiz Bharucha, for captain of Indian women’s rugby team would share their stories and motivate the students; Shark Tank where young entrepreneurial minds can put forward their ideas and connect with investors have been planned to ensure a kick start for their choice of career. Students can participate in large numbers in the Internship and Job fair to get a chance for extensive corporate exposure.
DISHA is one of the best opportunities for students to discover their dream programme and understand other study options. With an aim to cater to bright minds, Disha this year promises to strike a chord with its audience and provide an enriching experience.
