Decentralizing Education At The Regional Doors

There are numerous tools in this world which are advised to take while leading a life, but among them, the tool of education is chivalric. Education is a tool against the ravages of poverty, ravages of injustice, ravages of social structure, ravages of dignity, etc. This tool has always empowered and emboldened the people in society. History has been a testament to how education was also infiltrated by gender biases, class biases, and regional biases. Nevertheless, the revolutions and their surges have brought up remarkable reforms and made education to some extent overhaul these biases that reduce its accessibility. No doubt, there always remains room to climb for betterment. In India, the origination of education was marked by the advent of mouth-to-mouth learning through the sages. Further, the inventions of Gurukuls made strides in Indian education at the regional doors specifically.

The majestic Vedas, Upanishads, Dharmasutras, etc contributed significantly to Indian education. The prolific trait of these sources was that they reached door-to-door. The accessibility and affordability were the prominent advantages of these sources. With the advent of colonial rule, the pattern of education got retooled. The implementation of Western education renewed the Indian education system but it festered the education at the regional doors. The bifurcation of a class was garnered and hindered the downtrodden strata to avail of quality education.

If the subway of education will remain spread unevenly in a country, then the efficacy of the youth and community will remain low. The faded conditions of the government schools in most pockets of the country are witnessing the down gradation of education at the regional doors. This filth on education can be scrapped with the initiatives of NGOs, Social Entrepreneurs, Philanthropists, various associations, and councils. The grandeur of schools is shimmery in the metropolitan cities specifically but its grandeur can also be shimmery for the education at the regional doors. In India the grave issue of unemployment if tied firmly with this issue can yield the benefits of hitting two birds with one arrow. The unemployed youth can be placed in part-time work for teaching the rural kids thrice a week or so. Camp training and education if organized collectively by the councils, associations can impart the training of developing soft skills paired with theoretical knowledge.

The zenith of youth’s energy is the key to energising the budding youth. Education at the regional doors is failing majorly because of the shambolic functioning of schools in rural areas. The haggling that is done there should be dealt with strictly. The finest salaries of government teachers if aligned with their efforts can paint the atmosphere with bright colors. The formulation of distinct government schemes needs to see their utmost execution for the vibrant future of those kids. Our country is flocked with counsellors for career guidance, and the push to them for conducting monthly sessions can be fruitful.

Other crimes like- Suicide, female foeticide, thievery, etc have been triggered due to improper education at the regional doors. The youth of the rural community has been the victim of these crimes which have been paved by the impoverished education. A non-egalitarian society with a poor ratio of development influenced by education at the rural level cannot be termed as a developed society. However, the toil and moil done with the far-fetched vision can definitely release promising outputs.
