BITES AND BOOZE: When we entered the restaurant on a sunny Monday afternoon, the first thing I noticed was their classic interiors. The calm lighting and soothing music complimented the quaint, classic seating and peaceful ambiance. We started lunch with the not-so-usual-sweet Roasted Pumpkin Soup; made of mascarpone, chives and harissa, it was spicy, not too much, but just enough, accompanied by a delicious watermelon margarita. For appetizers we were served Lamb Sliders, Chicken BBQ Flat Bread and Salmon and Fish Cake. The Lamb Slider was made of the finest and leanest lamb meat. The Salmon and Fish Cake with white butter was so mouth watering that we ended up repeating our order. A mean, zesty orange margarita was served with Mushroom Risotto and finely oiled classic spaghetti. The Risotto, made of overnight soaked rice went nicely with the cocktails as well as the well garnished spaghetti. Then followed the most awaited dish of the afternoon, dessert. The milky Tres Leches which was well condensed, was buttery and had a nice spongy filling. Towards the end, the Lemon Panna cotta arrived and we couldn’t resist how lovely it tasted.
FAB OR DRAB: A fine, sophisticated restaurant with a quiet ambiance perfect for lunch with friends or date night. The service is friendly and even though it’s a little steep on the pocket, you’re sure to love it there.
