What can be more satisfying than doing a little something for underprivileged children on Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday? This Children’s Day, on the 14th of November, Team Entourage in association with the Lions Club of (Bombay) Gateway took the children of Gunjan Foundation, an NGO working for the welfare of children, on a day-long trip.
They departed from the NGO at 8:30AM and the children were served with light snacks during the journey. The first destination was Smaaash – the main partner for the event. The children were elated as they spent time enjoying all the rides in the arena. Smaaash also served them light food boxes and Brijeel Aqua provided them water refreshments. Up next, the children were taken to the Gateway of India where they spent time with Team Entourage on a beautiful ferry ride.
All the children were then dropped back to the NGO with broad smiles on their faces. The event was immensely satisfying, for Team Entourage as well as for the children, and was a huge success.
It is such initiatives by the youth that will help India transist from a developing country to a developed one.
