Acid attack victim, Sonali Mukherjee marries the love of her life

Sonali Mukherjee, an acid attack victim whose heart wrenching story inspired millions on KBC has tied the knot with the love of her life Chittaranjan Tiwari. Chittaranjan was somebody who connected with Sonali’s story and extended a friendship request to her on Facebook. Sonali accepted this instantly and the couple have been in love ever since. Their love culminated in a court marriage in Bokaro.

Sonali was splashed with acid when she was 18 years old by three men who allegedly harassed her. Her family sold its material assets to cover costs of hospital treatment and expensive litigation.

We at Youth Incorporated wish Sonali and Chittaranjan a very happy married life.
