Rohit Khandelwal made history by beating 46 other Mr. World contenders to the title of 1st man in Asia to become Mr. World. The heartthrob has sent the world into a tizzy with women swooning and clamouring to find and absorb every little detail about him. Well, you need not go too far as here we bring some least know facts about our very own Mr. World:

He belongs to the city of Nizams

Rohit was born on August 19, 1989 in Hyderabad (present day Telangana). He completed his graduation from Aurora Degree College and then came to the city of dreams, Mumbai to pursue modelling.

He started modelling much later

Before trying his luck in modelling, Rohit used to work for SpiceJet airline and as technical support assistant for Dell Computers.

You must have seen him on small screen

We don’t blame you for trying to remember where you’ve seen him. Prior to becoming Mr. World, Khandelwal has worked in several television shows including Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Million Dollar Girl, and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, among others.

He loves dogs

Don’t we all love men who love dogs? Well, Rohit Khandelwal is one of them. If you already follow him on Instagram you must’ve seen his adorable pictures with some of the cutest dogs we’ve ever seen.

He had a problem speaking Hindi

Like many other people from the South, Rohit too had a problem speaking Hindi. Growing up in Hyderabad, Rohit always had that Hyderabadi accent. He took diction classes to perfect his command of the Hindi language and read a lot of books in Hindi.

He is a fitness freak

No surprises there. You can figure that out by looking at his physique, but what you don’t know is that he was once quite bulky and has worked really hard to achieve that body.

He was named best dressed male

Rohit was named the Best Dressed Man by GQ magazine in 2015. And, we all know how dressing well goes down with the ladies.

At the end, all we can do is thank Rohit for making India proud.
