With September almost wrapping up, we have a lot of college fests to check out and visit this year, that are truly worth a trip. From celebrities to local heroes, college fests attract the best and brightest of the country to compete in some amazing events! While some of these fests are repeats of a long-standing history of great fests, some of them you might not know too much about. They’re all in great company, as these are some of the best college fests to visit in India this year –

  1. Mood Indigo (IIT Mumbai)

Since IIT is filled with some of the brightest young talents that our country has, Mood Indigo is one of the best fests to visit in 2017. They have some great bands performing, some great comedy, great food, and a great overall vibe to check out. It’s an iconic event that’s one of Asia’s largest by size, and yet true to Mumbai’s soul with artists, painters, sculptors, singers and designers from all walks of life coming together and creating an experience that exceeds expectations. This is one of the best times you can have in Mumbai around Dec 22nd, just before Christmas. If you’re a student, you need to be here to see what all you can do at the event and soak in some inspiration from the sheer creativity. As for the size of the event – last year their footfall was over 1 lakh people, so register early and ensure that you visit it

  1. Oasis, BITS Pilani

If IIT is on the list, BITS can’t be too far away. BITS Pilani’s Oasis is a spectacular one – this year their theme is a combination of fiction and reality together in Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Pop-up mash up. They’re known for some great musical performances and can attract the crowd from all over! You’ve got 40 days to sign up before it’s too late, and entries go fast. Make sure that you’re here on 31st October. Amit Trivedi will be there too!

  1. UNMAAD, IIM Bangalore

With some amazing sponsors fueling the show, this is the gateway to all things Awesome! Unmaad has some of the best talent engaged in all sorts of music, theatre and art, and they get bigger and better with every year. The fest is a lot more edgier than the others, and they also have a killer bike-treasure hunt in the streets of Bangalore, to make you really enjoy the city along with the fest.

  1. Atrangi IIT-K

Atrangi is back again on Oct 26th and it is going to be a techie-fueled event. You’re going to see drones, AR, VR, and a lot of cool technologies that the college is working on.
