5 Brilliant Ad Campaigns That Will Blow Your Mind

Advertising campaigns are a series of advertising directed to convey the same message to the audience via a medium such as print, television, radio or the internet, to achieve a particular goal. For instance, an organisation might design an ad campaign to meet one of the following objectives

  • Create awareness about a new product
  • To inform the audience about a social issue
  • To inform people about an offer
  • To raise the goodwill of the company
  • To convert potential buyers into loyal buyers

The human race has seen a fair share of ad campaigns and some of them have left a great impact on the viewers and did wonders for the brand’s image.

Let’s recall some of the most iconic ad campaigns

Cadbury- ‘kuch meetha ho jai’

Whenever you hear the word Cadbury or Dairy Milk, the first thing your brain thinks about is “kuch meetha ho jai”. This campaign has been around for decades. The campaign insight states that “In today’s fast-paced world, most of us tend to overlook the goodness and kindness inherent in us. As a brand, Cadbury Dairy Milk wanted to shine the spotlight on spontaneous little acts, celebrate them and the wonderful human connection that they result in.” From advertising small moments in life to cherishing beautiful memories, Cadbury has always targeted their audience with emotions.

Nike – Dream Crazy

Nike came out with its “Dream Crazy” campaign at the beginning of this year focusing on a collection of stories that represent women athletes that have been criticized by the society and been called crazy for having particular dreams. The ad specifically states that if the society wants to call them crazy then show them what crazy is. The ad included athletes like Serena Williams, 29-year-old basketball phenomena and wheelchair athlete Megan Blunk and many more.

Coca Cola – Share a coke

Share a Coke is an international marketing campaign for Coca-Cola. It replaces “Coca-Cola” from one side of a bottle with the phrase “Share a Coke with” followed by a person’s name e.g., friend, wifey, sister, buddy, etc. The campaign aims to have individuals go out and find a bottle with a particular name on it, then share it with their friends. The campaign began in Australia in 2011 and resulted in the massive growth in the sales of the company.
