$400,000 scholarships for Indian students offered by UK University

Queen’s University Belfast has announced scholarships for Indian engineering and science students that are worth 400,000 USD. Known as the A P J Abdul Kalam Scholarship, this scheme is open to 100 Indian students who wish to enrol in a postgraduate engineering or science programme at the university in 2012. Dr Kalam was awarded an Honorary Doctorate during his visit to the university in 2009 that recognised his contribution to science, engineering and public service in India. Students who are awarded the scholarship will enjoy the benefit of studying at the Queen’s University Belfast.
