A reader’s world is a completely different world from that of the others. There are people who chew up 5-6 books a day. They are what we call, a bookworm. If you are one such person, then the below-mentioned points are sure to be relatable.
You read a sentence, it touches you deeply so you go ahead and mark it. It’s that simple. There is a purpose behind it too. You like a statement or paragraph so much that you like to come back to it and read it again, even after finishing a book.
Just like people wait for a new episode of a series to come out, bookworms wait for the launch of new book.
Whether they are out for a job interview or are just going out to hangout with friends, the book has to accompany them wherever they go. Please don’t think they are showing off. Some do but not all.
Bookworms have more books than clothes to wear. It’s not an exaggeration. All you will see in their house/room is books.
Imagine buying 5-6 books to read in a day. It’s a costly affair. Which is why, since they read so many books, they have already hunted every bookstall that sells books in cheap. Don’t be surprised even if they tell you the exact prices of books.
No matter how clichéd this sounds, they definitely have a habit of keeping things in between the pages of the books. It can be anything right from rose petals (obviously), to money, to even small chits.
If you are borrowing a book from a bookworm, be very careful of not dropping anything on it or not damaging it in any way. If you do, you will be in for havoc! Bookworms are very careful with their books.
If you love a bookworm, then you know the best way to make him/her happy. If you want to be loved by a bookworm, gift them books.
Bookworms don’t feel the need to talk to anybody when they have a book in hand. You can leave them alone for hours without talking to them and then won’t even be affected by it.
