Bollywood actors are famous all around the world for their stylish looks, fit bodies and fashion statements. This is how they grab everyone’s attention and steal millions of hearts. While some of the actors are talented in their profession, some have excelled in their academics as well.

Here’s a list of 10 actors who have given education preference, despite having budding acting careers:

1. Parineeti Chopra

Parineeti’s transformation from fat to fit is enough to prove how determinant she is as a person. The resourceful actor holds a triple honors degree in Business, Finance, and Economics from Manchester Business School, UK.

2. Amitabh Bachchan

The Ruler of Bollywood acquired double majors in Science and Arts from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University. Big B also has an honorary doctorate degree from Queensland University, Australia.

3. Preity Zinta

The ‘Beauty with the Brains’ Preity Zinta received a Bachelor’s degree in English with honors from St. Bede’s College in Shimla and a Master’s degree in Criminal Psychology.

4. Shah Rukh Khan

SRK conducted his schooling from St, Columba’s School where the actor was awarded the ‘Sword of Honour’ (the paramount felicitation given to a student by the institution) for being an exceptional student. He achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hansraj College, Delhi University. Recently, he received an honorary doctorate in philanthropy from University of Law, UK.

5. Soha Ali Khan

Soha Ali Khan achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Modern History from Balliol College, Oxford. She also has a Master’s degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK.

6. John Abraham

The Bollywood star that got his fame from ‘Dhoom’ received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Jai Hind College and obtained an MBA from MET, Mumbai.

7. Vidya Balan

The ‘Kahani’ star has played challenging roles throughout her career. She achieved her majors in Sociology from St. Xavier’s, Mumbai while she was working in Hum Paanch. She finished her post-graduation from the University of Mumbai.

8. Ameesha Patel

Ameesha studied at Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai. She studied Bio-genetic engineering before making the switch to Economics. She graduated from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, U.S with a gold medal.

9. Ashish Vidhyarthi

This Bollywood villain is known for his negative roles in movies but the talented actor holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Hindu College, Delhi University.

10. Siddharth

Siddharth achieved fame for his ‘damn care but loyal’ character in Rang De Basanti. He studied B.Com (Hon) from Kirori Mal College in Delhi University and gained his MBA from S P Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. He was also presented the CNBC Manager of the Year award.
