Just a few hours ago, Indian cricketer Virat Kohli posted a video on Instagram, thanking his 50 million huge Instagram family and his fans for showering him with immense love and support. Why this is a big deal is because, with these 50 million Instagram followers, Virat Kohli has become the first Indian celebrity to have the highest number of followers.

Virat Kohli also happens to be the most followed cricketer on Instagram. Virat is an active Instagram user who has uploaded 931 posts. These posts are not just about brand promotions, but about every important activity he undertakes, or every event he attends. Moreover, he also keeps giving his fans a little sneak peek into his personal life where he shares pictures of himself on vacation and the fun he has with his team players.
