Mood Indigo | The Annual Cultural Festival Of IIT Bombay

Mood Indigo, the annual cultural festival of IIT Bombay, in its 51st edition is successfully organizing its competitions, events, and sessions this weekend. Asia’s largest festival has some enticing events lined up and competitions like never before for the 30th of January!

Because the show must go on, the festival will be virtual no matter how challenging the situation. A Mood Indigo Core Group Member said, “Although the festival is virtual, people will get an experience like never before. We have created a virtual campus simulation where people will be able to attend concerts.” The two-day festival is set to conclude on the 30th of January.

There are a plethora of events lined up for the weekend. It will start with none other than Mr. Shashi Tharoor, former Under-Secretary-General at the United Nations, helping represent the country on the largest platform in the world; he now serves much closer to home, still fighting the good fight.

On the 30th of January, many international bands, artists, and young international talent will be seen. Under Talent Fiesta, talent shows will be taking place today, with artists performing from all over the globe. With the likes of Andrew Lee and Daniel Guedes showing their insane magic tricks, the Talent Fiesta will surely be a big hit.

Mood Indigo presents a panel with two versatile actors turned authors, Tushar Kapoor and Divya Dutta. Their journeys as actors and authors have been beautiful, and one cannot miss it!

Humor is inevitable to any festival, and the next power-packed performance is a stand-up act by the most celebrated comedian Abhishek Upmanyu. “Kyunki Yahi Baatien toh Baad mai Yaad Aayegi” has been the tagline for him and Mood Indigo will repeat the same!

In its concluding phase, the festival will be celebrated by the likes of Prajakta Koli, Smriti Irani, Raj Shimani, Raanbeer Allahbadia, Tahir Bashin, and many more!!!

All good things come to an end, they say and so does Asia’s humongous fest. The conclusion will occur with the Padmashri Awardee’s dulcet voice, Mr. Kailash Kher! Groove along to all-time hits like Teri Deewani and Allah Ke Bande at the most spectacular concert of the year.

Stay tuned to www.moodi.org  for more such announcements and events. Reserve your seats for free to enjoy the blissful weekend filled with life.
